Spread the Word: Pet Food Recall!

on 08/28/2014 - 05:21 pm

A voluntary recall of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition dry dog food was issued yesterday. Twenty-two bags of food were recalled for potentially containing fragments of metal. The good news is that these bags were only sold in for states: Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisiana and Mississippi, and no injuries were reported. The warning was isolated to these bags and no other Pedigree foods were affected. What should you do? If you purchased this food from a Dollar General in this region, look at the bag. Each affected bag will has the lot code 432C1KKM03 printed on the back of the bag near the UPC and a Best Before date of 8/5/15. If you are not personally affected, please spread the word anyway!

In Las Vegas, the majority of shelter dogs are Chihuahuas and Pit Bulls. The unwanted litters of pups and leftover pets of those who mo ...

WITH YOUR POOCH:
Give your day to your dog. Spend time together just hanging out, playing, and generally appreciating each other.
Throw him a bone! Buy your pal a new toy or some treats. Or make some treats. Fancy!
Pay really close attention.  Today, take time to notice your dog’s habits. Anything different, everything seem healthy? Do a little check up. Brush that fur, clean those teeth, and keep your friend in tip-top shape!
Get the family involved. Talk to each other about what make ...
